Cowboy!

Meet Robert Wheat, son of Rick Wheat, inventor of the patented Noavel Head Stall. Robert trains horses using the Noavel. He came by to get his mail and knocked on the back door. I asked permission to take his picture so I could show you a local cowboy. He said he wasn't worth a freckle on a real cowboy's behind. However, he does always seem to be training one horse or another. Word gets around.
Placing his mail in his saddle bag, he prepares for more training. He rides the horses in town plus in all conditions. I wish I had my camera the other day...Robert was at the drive thru at the local bank on a horse!
And, yes, Billy, my Australian saddle has a horn!

At this sign you turn on County Road Nine to get to my house.

Take the left fork...

Follow the road to the end!

Now you know how to find me.

Can I visit? I wanna come over :D!

I also would love to ride to town [on one of your beautiful, gentle, lower riding ponies] to get my mail.

How cool is THAT?

Nice scenes of your neck of the woods, and your cowboy neighbor. I have no idea what a Noavel Head Stall is, but that's great he invented it!

Now I've just got to find myself a horse and then I can canter down your road for a visit. Better make it a horse with wings so I can get over the ocean for starters! :-) Have a wonderful New Year, Gail - wishing all the very best for 2009.

"Back In The Saddle Again" What a cute picture of the cute cowboy. Does he have a wife?

Thanks for the invite, if I'm ever in your neck of the country I'll look you up! ;)

Gail, thanks for stopping by the farm, and thanks for the directions to yours. Perhaps we can meet up for a trail ride. I also ride in an Aussie saddle (with a horn) best saddle I ever had. Best horse, I've ever owned, my Buddy Scout. Raised him from birth to his present age of 12 years.

Cool Beans! Collecting mail via horse back, just like years ago, I Love It! In our State we have a lot of Amish folks with horse and buggy, that is their only means of transportation. Can you believe, people are trying to get this to stop all together, "it's a safey issue" POOP! I think, in the times of today, we as people are always in a hurry, we have become very impatient... As for me, like a kid again, I get excited when I see them coming up or down the road in their buggy; God Bless them...

Happy Trails,
Mel

Your map sounds pretty easy...I'll be down as fast as I can get there!
Funny, my Cowboy In the Spring Summer and Fall) rides the horses from here over the hills and into town about 8 miles away...people bring him (and the dog!) drinks from the store and anything else he wants!

Tell that cowboy dude to please come pick me up, ok? Just sling me right over the back of his horse and I'll be on my way to your place.

I love road trips. I can't wait to come visit you one day soon, my fun friend :)
