I Missed The Eclipse!

The first time a lunar eclipse has occurred during the winter solstice in 372 years and I missed it!!  I shot the moon Wednesday morning as I drove to work, thinking what a fool I was not to witness this event.
I'm not gonna miss the next one...

Nice new header photo. And your moon shots are very good, too. :)

Alot of people I know stayed up to watch the eclipse. I got up in the middle of the night to see it. Awesome!

I missed it, too. I was prepared to get up at 2:00 am to witness it and take pictures, but it was so overcast here in central IL, there was no way I was going to see anything. Darn!

I missed it, too, but not for lack of trying. It was cloudy here.

Can you imagine what people thought of a blood red full moon almost 400 years ago?

I missed it, too. I stayed up, but our skies were covered in clouds. Alas, no moon to be seen.

In 2094, I'll be 128 years old. Has anyone ever lived that long?

My daughter and I sat on the front porch steps and watched it. It was very cool to see. Tried to get photos, but my camera just isn't good enough for that.

Happy day to you!

I love your sense of humor! :) Good thing I saw it as I don't think I'll be around for the next one.

I agree...family living is the way to go if we are to survive in this economy. I think I like you guys...maybe we can make our commune together! :)

Merry Christmas to you and your's.
