Sunday Snow...Who Put Phil In Charge?

My ground hog At The Farm did not see her shadow since it snowed all day!  Late or early spring?
 As the big flakes fell
Cardinals were out in force
sitting in the pruned fig tree
waiting to steal dog food.
Sunday
Monday
Jill, our ground hog, says an early spring
and you know women are always right!

Morning update!
Jill may be hormonal.
This is a 9AM...another storm!
Wishing everyone a short winter.

I'd rather believe your groundhog.

Always enjoy seeing Cardinals since we have none here. And up until last night, we had no snow to speak of. I love the phrase Jill might be hormonal.

You are so funny, Poor Jill, I am sure she is tired of winter too.
It really looks pretty though.

Whew, that is a relief Jill. We will take your prediction over that stupid Phils.
Hope those beautiful cardinals managed to find some dog food.

I sure hope so, because I think we could all use a very early spring. Or, at least a lot less of winter! Phil is a funny one, and it does depend on where you are, so there are many of his cousins skirting about making up their own idea of when spring will come. So we'll never know until it hits. Soon, please!

Beautiful pictures of the snow, birds, and your property. I like Jill, lets use her instead of Phil from now on!!

I think my groundhog froze to death.

As for California, wish us a long one…and some rain! (As you know all to well, drought is no fun.)

Great photos, Gail. :-)

The groundhog here drowned. And we got another 2 or 3 inches today...

Fun post . . . we'll see what happens, won't we!

I can only say that it doesn't look that way here and I am happy about that. So far we have been spared any form of winter. I guess you got it all. xox
