a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

She Walks...

She walks
In the clear
To avoid
The muddy
Turbulence
That is
Her life

Never looking up
She strolls
Splashing
In tall boots
Pretending
This is real
Not the murky water

In this moment
She walks on rocks
Never disturbing
Silt nor mud
Nor secrets
And thinks
This is how it should be

This was well crafted some deep thoughts here. In this moment she walks on rocks.

The photo and the words---some thoughtful writing. Excellent.

Oh I liked this, ( I bet Tess likes and will relate too) and I think we were both somewhat on track in our thoughts. I felt the desire to add some extra photos as well!

A lot of poetry this week has her walking on stones, Very cool it goes with the prompt..... I like your brevity and American Indian prayer.
