Getting My God Fix...

I love and respect the land.  I think sometimes I can be closer to God in the middle of His Creation than in any man made building.  I needed my fix.  I walked to my favorite place, Rock Hollow.
I stumbled.
I tripped
but I kept going.
I looked back and knew life was like this journey.  You may not think you can make the climb, sometimes you trip and think of giving up but somehow you reach deep within yourself and accomplish just what you needed to do.

That reaching is what makes life good.

Amen! And such a beautiful spot. Nature also confirms God, because there is no way such symbiotic and balanced beauty just happened by accident.

It's not the building, nor the Church. God is everywhere and I find him when I walk, see something beautiful, watch a creek run, see a waterfall, watch the magic of the forest that surrounds me. Everything I touch, see and feel reminds me every day. Rock Hollow is such a place. I can feel whats in your heart through your virtual words. lol

I can relate to that. A day without a walk in creation is just a little emptier.

Very true, Gail..I see God's hand everywhere in nature, and especially in quiet walks..just me and Him. I hope you are not frozen up there..it's right on the line here.

You are so right, and the getting back up and doing it again, and again. I agree with that same feeling, even far more than entering a man-made building. Sadly, those man-made buildings come with people, not that I don't like people, but you know the folks I'm referring to, and the thing is, you seldom meet up with them out there in the wild wilderness. Life is good, into the woods.

You are full of introspect. And you are correct.

Life challenges us every day. Sometimes others challenge us. Sometimes we challenge ourselves. We must keep going on our journey, no matter what.

Yep.
I feel the same way. Much closer to God in His creation than in some man-made structure.

Have a blessed Sunday. Be safe and warm. ♥

My favorite part of life is being able to stroll, hike, and appreciate all of what God's produced for us.

I do believe God prefers his own handy work to man's and like you it is in nature that I actually feel Him.
