a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Before And After

I didn't know it would take almost a month to get this organized, cleaned and repaired but I'm Finally calling it finished.  I had already started working, sorting and cleaning when I remembered to take a before picture so the difference is not really visible.  All the containers you see are things Hubby must sort.  There will be fine tuning as we go along but the floor is empty and a vehicle can be pulled in for work now.
Like kinds together
and ready for winter working.
Next project...the lean to...and anyone who doesn't put things away will be in BIG trouble. Dad's forge is here along with an very old drill press, I hope to see both of them being used soon.

And here I thought I'd been busy! I love the shot of the shed; it reminds me of my Grandfather's old workshop. =)

Wow, that is incredible, your hard work paid off well. I know I've mentioned this before, but I really like seeing that old wall it's beautiful.

I can see all that hard work you have told me about. you are the Queen of Clean up... i love that old stove, really love it. why is it when we put things in order, they slowly get back out of order until one day BAM there is is needing order again

I just went through my storage building - yes I said "my". Several years ago I saved and saved and bought a small building all my own. I was tired of my husband complaining about all the stuff I kept in "his" garage. But if I don't watch him some of his stuff seems to bleed over to my building! blessings, marlene

Beautifully done my friend. I can see you've done all kinds of work.
You should become a professional organizer, just a thought.

That took some grit to tackle that but ya done good. You have reclaimed your space.

To reclaim a space that which was buried is a true achievement. Love the old heater! So much to caress and think about ones who used the equipment.

You did a great job, Gail. It would have taken me way more than a month, if I got finished at all!
It looks really good. I hope they take care of things, too.
What a great building.
God bless. ♥ :-)

Ohhhh we are about to tackle our garage. Before the renter moved in, we
crammed even more stuff into it. Chris (grandson) is coming back up next week to work on it.

Congrats on finishing organizing! It looks like it was quite the project! We just harvested our pumpkins and watermelons today...time to get ready for winter.

Love the stone walls and the wood burner. Very quaint. I noticed, too, a very pretty shade of blue in some of the items inside.

A wonderful transformation. It looks like it was heaps of work! But the end result is worth it.

It looks great! And I commend you for tackling such a tangle in the first place. The "before" looks overwhelming! It certainly will make it much more enjoyable to work in there this winter.

2015, Gail cleans, sorts, throws, organizes, tosses, repeats . . .
Collapses!

Well done Gail, I would say sit back and take a well deserved rest - but I'm sure you are already on your next project, or simply busy working ...

All the best Jan
